Re: EE D6 - The Choosing of the Thunders (Key Event)

Norikage saw.the souls being gathered for the task that lay ahead. He was confident they would do what they needed to. He didn't know then all, but had.met some and others had a reputation that preceded them.

Maybe this would turn out.

Re: OOc Chat 4: The Game Begins

More on topic, I see at least one person abstain from D6 fighting. Who would like to have a go at it? Could totally get killed twice and not be a thunder after all, right? Right? :?

Re: We Stand On Guard For Thee [Day 6, Early Morning, Open]

He nodded.

"Again, though...if they feel it's unfair that's fine", he said. "Though they could have handled it all better."

Re: OOc Chat 4: The Game Begins

First I giggled because Matsu has two girls, iirc. Then I laughed because this is such a weird take. Norikage has some weird thoughts on women and motherhood? Laughing because it's stupid and wildly incorrect is a valid take. Not everything needs to be perfect or awesome. None of the characte...

Re: We Stand On Guard For Thee [Day 6, Early Morning, Open]

"It is what it is", he said with some resignation. "Most of them were injured, but pretty minor. I was the only samurai to take a scratch, but I threw myself in like an idiot. One of the Spider was there, had good training so he took care of all the immediate injuries." He looked more directly at So...

Re: We Stand On Guard For Thee [Day 6, Early Morning, Open]

"They weren't already dead, and Shiba-hime was there", he explained. "So, they got a few scratches and bruises but no one died...well... One did.". He shook his head. "I don't blame people for protecting themselves in a fight, but shooting to kill was what Yumi-san did, whether she meant to or not."...

Re: We Stand On Guard For Thee [Day 6, Early Morning, Open]

"No, but now at least I've heard it", he said and offered the old man the bamboo container. "Just water." "That sounds rough yeah. Looks like you had a shugenja look after you already though, which is good." He rubbed his shoulder. "For my part, I had to deal with sleepwalkers trying to kill the vil...

Re: We Stand On Guard For Thee [Day 6, Early Morning, Open]

"Corpses, huh?" He walked over and found a place to sit down while Sora stretched. Honestly the thought caused him to stifle a shudder. He'd seen dead bodies, more than he'd like to have, but he had only seen them still moving and trying to kill him once. He wasn't excited for it to happen again. "W...

Re: We Stand On Guard For Thee [Day 6, Early Morning, Open]

"Old men and old houses, both complain without saying a word", Norikage quipped as he entered Chouri's garden. He seemed to be in a particularly good mood, despite the circumstances. He had a bamboo bottle with him, his mask was on, as well as his travel cloak for warmth in the early morning. "Good ...

Re: EE D6 - The Choosing of the Thunders (Key Event)

Norikage stepped out into the open, casting his gaze on those already gathered. He gave Sora-ji-chan a nod, offered the monk Nozomi a bow and found himself a place to sit where he could keep a view of the area. Here wasn't the place for anything personal, he like most had an idea of what this gather...

[D5 Sleep] Ideal Future

Norikage likely felt good as he laid down to rest, though it was relative. Had he been home still with the more mundane issues he faced, he would have been up all night worrying about what he would do. Faced with the prospect of 1000 Years of Darkness, however, he found not much to worry about. All...

Re: [D5, EA] Back on Track

"Martial strength isn't what protects people", he said. "It's courage."

He kissed her, plain and pure for a long moment.

"As long as I'm standing, you're standing", he said and put his forehead to hers. "Let me have my worry."

Re: [D5, EA] Back on Track

"You'll be around", he said with a smirk. "Fate would never deny me the worry."

Or choices to regret.

He put a hand on her obi, tugging her closer.

"And I need to worry, it's the only thing keeping me awake."

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE

He nodded in thanks to Reo. "Not much of a mortal real without mortals in it", he said by way of agreement. "Though we'll always mistrust, always do stupid things, and sometimes we won't even admit our faults...I know I'm terrible at it." He scratched his mask thoughtfully. "If they're good people t...

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE

"I have some experience myself", he said as the healer did his work. "It's definitely sneaky, and can reach almost anyone. As far as Chouri-san, it isn't her that I don't trust, it's what.she put her trust in. If she sees it for what it is, I'm confident she would turn away. If I'm right, then it ma...

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE

"It certainly was fitting to the man." Reo finishes the concoction and treats the first two patients, seeing their bodies slump. "I should take some of this myself if it allays the concerns of some of the people from earlier." "Some people are indeed a bit concerned", he answered. "Not that I place...

Re: [D5, EA] Back on Track

"Well I am very edgy", he chuckled. "But you have to admit, a winner take all match can't be approached lightly. If you aren't willing to sacrifice, will you even be able to change things?"
