Sleep was not an easy thing for Otaku Xiaochen that night. Not when the stars still yearned to be embraced! And yet, one's body can only be held prisoner by one's fevered mind so long. Unable to boogie all night long as she might have before she gave birth to two rambunctious boy-children, she ended up trying to pass out in her tent. Only the falling sensations kept coming for her. This sort of thing was not unknown to heavy drinkers of fermented mare's milk, but it was very inconvenient to have happen just after Shinsei said she was a hero. Or could be a hero, she guessed. But probably was. No, is. Is. Seriously!
What was she thinking about? Oh yeah, sleep. Well, the only thing to do in a situation like this is to snuggle up close to the dogs and...oh yeah, no dogs. And Otaku-ue, though probably warm, was not likely a solid choice either. Ditto for her new friend-goal peoples. So that leaves...

Stumbling into Chouri's stable, Xiaochen collapsed next to her favorite person in the world, falling asleep just as the sun crested the horizon. Ahhh....
