After caring for his pony, feeding and watering it, Kyosei returned to the camp, to see a gathering occurring. A curious man, he wandered closer to listen and learn. As he got closer, he gave a general bow to the group as a whole.

".... Morning. Not much of one, but yeah, it's morning. Is this the bad dreams I was hearing about yesterday?"

"I've spoken to a few, but I only arrived last evening. Don't know much about this festival. I was trying to get to Small Lotus village, not Blu Lotus village. Wrong preparation."

"My mine is in traditional Isawa lands, in the mountains to the north. It produces silver, along with other metals - no gold, but brass, tin, the like. And I was trying to travel to Small Lotus village, with some badly needed supplies, which should have been nearby, but I broke the wheel of my wagon...

If someone lets Kyosei know in-character, he can start crafting the rods.

"Ah, yes, that is the important qualifier, isn't it? Always good to have plans for if the world ends. Gives you more reason to fight to keep it from ending!"

"Well, that also could work out. I do have a pony, after all. I can't pull that wagon myself!" He chuckles.

"Truly, though. If you wish to travel, you have an invitation. Sometimes, as now, it is just me. Other times, I have as many as 5 wagons traveling."

Kyosei caught wind of what Sora was talking about, then repressed the memory it called up, before wondering what they were talking about....

Kyosei returned to where the cooking was going on. Over his shoulders were bags, one of barley, the other of rice. He sets them near the prep area. They were for planting, but were totally edible if prepared right.

He didn't know how to prepare them, but he knew they could be prepared right.

Kyosei came out of his tent, bleary-eyed and much later than normal for him. He blinked around, looked up and the sky, and mumbled something under his breath. Something very impolite. "Aahhhh. Hmm? Yes, I suppose we are. But, at least at my level, not that close. I oversee a mine, formerly for my sensei, then for my tribe with his passing, and I suppose now for the Emperor, but it is only one mine among many."

"By chance, do you know how to repair a wagon wheel? You could travel with me."

"Actually, perhaps half to a third of my travels are to those areas the Empire claims, but has no control over. So, if you really did want to go to such a place, you are welcome on my wagon."

"I can... call on the spirits to try to heal any wounds, strains, sprains, or cuts. Or if anyone is more seriously wounded. But, bruises might or might not get healed well. Still, I will try. Should we start with the most injured?"

I would... but he answered first.

Kyosei would be something like 'Seeking Stone', or 'Savouring Stone'.

He smiled wryly.

"I oversee a mine."

After a few beats, he continues. "Actually, my son does most of the overseeing now. I travel for the most part, trading and conversing. Looking for new knowledge, helping those that need it, and others might miss."

I was thinking Stalking more along the lines of hunting, not stealth per say.
