Re: Travelling through the dark (carpal) tunnel - Underbirb Q&A
It's unfortunate when RL acts up and prevents active posting from happening, including carpal tunnel. At the very least, it seems that you were able to keep an eye on OOC and post there. With being less active, were there things that you planned, had a hand in organizing or things on the to-do list...

Re: Travelling through the dark (carpal) tunnel - Underbirb Q&A
Loved Enrou and would have loved to interact more with him. I think Enrou and Naraku could have been good friends I agree. Getting more time to interact with people through Enrou is something I wish I'd been able to manage during the game. I'm sure he had so many more sacrilegious things to say abo...

Re: Travelling through the dark (carpal) tunnel - Underbirb Q&A
Somewhere Nanzi is smiling, and thank you and sorry for your pain. If you can believe it, I threw together that intro post to the thunder battle on a whim in about 5 minutes' worth of time while halfway asleep. And you'll be interested to know that Shinsei's self doubt at the very end of it all was...

Re: Travelling through the dark (carpal) tunnel - Underbirb Q&A
Et tu Shinsei? When did you decide on Shinsei or whatever it was as the big bad? Would we have seen more instances of that before the big reveal if you had been more active? Close to a month or so before the start of the game. I'll admit that I made a big push for that to be the case in this settin...

Travelling through the dark (carpal) tunnel - Underbirb Q&A
I will admit there are several instances where I had fully intended to be more proactive and available for running NPCs left to my care, but various elements of RL no Oni made that a bit of a challenge. That said, I had a fantastic time helping to run this game, and the final race to the end on the ...

Re: Morning visit (6EM, open)
Unsurprisingly, there's a significant portion of Enrou's garden that seems to have been harvested hastily, so much as to be obvious even to one not familiar with typical gardening practices. Enrou himself was not currently available, laid up as he was in his own house, meaning there were a few more ...

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE
"Hisomu-san seems to know something about what may have happened to them", he indicated Reo with a head gesture. His eyes shifted toward Yumi for a moment and he looked back to Kumori, giving a nod. Then he went to investigate the house a bit, to see if he could trace back the events that happened ...

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE
"It looks like they are sleepwalking. If I am a betting man, I would say that something is using their dreams to puppet their bodies to do this." Reo looks at the group of tied persons. "But if I give them something that would make their muscles limp and unable to move until they wake..." He choses...

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE
As the crazed villagers don't seem capable of inflicting much damage to the others at this point. Yumi carefully makes her way to the one she struck with her arrow. Moving beside them, kneeling beside them. Checking them for breath, and then bleeding. Confirming they had died. Once confirmed, she r...

The guard puts up a token resistance, but is unable to accomplish much as he finds himself bound in place.

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE
The three remaining villagers struggle back to their feet, the movements uncoordinated and unnatural to behold. Without much thought to their actions, they simply turn and scrabble their way to the closest available target, Kumori, following Norikage's retreat to restrain the guard. Attack against K...

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE
The first villager struck only gets grazed by the blade, but quickly loses balance from the surprise of the blow and falls to the ground. The second takes a hefty blow to the side of the head, staggers for a moment, then stands up triumphantly, somehow maintaining balance, only to fall to the ground...

Re: Patients, Please!!!! D5, LE
Yumi's arrow soars clear through, and while on the outside it might appear that they simply collapsed in pain, for Reo it is painfully clear that the arrow sliced clear through a major artery in their leg, causing them to fall prone and bleed out far faster than any medical intervention could hope t...
