Then he’s going to run into the party of other PCs anyway, I think, since we can’t plausibly have two separate EM scenes there.

I think EM may make the most sense for this particular site-oriented outing (plus someone seems to have already started a scene?) but there’s also dreamstone in camp to poke at and probably more opportunities too.
