Anything you wish you'd been able to do with the character that you weren't able to get to?

One hell of a choice to stay behind, mad respect.

Interact with more of the cast, I think.
Sadly RL-no-Oni happens and I could not make as much threads as I wanted to

Thanks! Zhe could not let Chouri/Dai Lu be alone again against the nightmare

AH!
1. Biggest curveball Zhe threw you?
Sheesh! I did not expect Zhe to become the primary voice of the village/liaison amongst the samurai present given that there were people much, much more better suited to be in that position. I guess I was the only one willing to do the job
2. Biggest curveball the game threw you?
The Chouri romance. I did not expect it but it was a hook I could not ignore. There was RP reasons, of course, but when answering the questions about biggest fear/hope that Zhe lacked substantial fears...existential dreads, yes, but nothing that could easily be used by the GM team. By following the Chouri route Zhe gained the fear of losing her and I gave a nice juicy flank to be exploited. For much of the game the player did not know if Chouri was genuinely good or a Shelob kind of monster waiting for the right moment to suck his marrow.
3. Favorite moment?
The draw lot play was very fun, you maniacs
4. Biggest missed opportunity?
Time to rp with other peeps. RL-no-Oni hit hard this game
5. Any secrets Zhe has that never came up?
Zhe was far less gullible then people gave him credit for. Before coming to the village he had sent two messengers who never came back so he strongly suspected something was up when he arrived.
6. Did Zhe pick up on how fond Sora was of him by the end?
Not quite sure if he did! He was fond of Sora as well, however, since he seemed to be very reasonable an grounded man.

Why did you have to stay, Zhe would have been a perfect friend.
Really loved your character and I really loved our interactions.

Naraku was great as well!
Zhe had to stay: his second dream was about living a life alone but more specifically without Chouri. When he learned that she would seal herself with the Champion he could not bring himself to leave her, her own lonely childhood putting more weight behind the decision.

Focused
I loved the game. The suspense was well maintained during the run time.
Sorry I did not have a thread with you as well.

Addendum
I did not expect to have Wu actually predict Shinsei's fall

Well, if it helps, the messengers were, in fact, in town and alive. They were mixed in with the other villagers. So there's a secret no one found. XD

by Nozomi
So, funny story. When I got tapped for Nozomi to play out the "Selection" process the way that Shinsei had in Game 2, I went hunting for little tidbits of story from previous games. That was when I ran across the scene where Wu Zhe and Satsuki were having a ... disagreement about how the burning of a building should have been handled. I loved finding little snippets like that, because they were now years old and I'd never noticed that in that game.
I will definitely say that staying with Chouri to the end in the darkness was a beautifully tragic ending. Absolutely perfect.
I hope we get the chance to play more in the next game.

Livin' the dream, as they say
Thanks. I am glad going back made the character seem consistent
I hope we'll get to play more as well
