The Day of Thunder

[Nozomi]

Nozomi had been meaning to take time as this all played out, to see her friend Matsu. It had been too long, and things had been too hectic for them both. Hopefully she would be able to take the time more than once, but finding the time to do it while training for the day and getting in a bit of meditation was, at the very least, easy enough. She currently waited in an open space that she'd had ringed off for the two of them to exorcise after sending word to the Spider.

[Matsu]

She had been excited to meet the monk she regarded as her auntie. Arriving ready to spare, her Kimono sleeves tied to expose the muscular arms and tanned skin. Her hair tied back tightly.

"Hello, auntie."

[Nozomi]

She laughed softly at being called that, not for the first time, when Matsu arrived, giving her a bow and a wink. "If it isn't my beloved niece," she said, the faint mirth very apparent. Perhaps the next day would have far sadder and more haunted thoughts, but for now it was going to be good to get some time with an old friend. "It's good to see you ready to save the world, yet again. It seems all we ever do, does it not?"
