The Day of Thunder

This? This at least Nozomi understood. Taking out monsters in the middle of the city streets brought out a side of her from the old days, one that was ready to do whatever it took. She could handle destruction, and almost a little gleefully waded into the task of fighting the effigies, striking at one and taking its head clean off before it could reach one of the villagers.

She looked to the nearest defender and nodded with a grim smile.

An arrow flew out of nowhere destroying one of the effigies. Kai tipped his head to Nozomi as he moved to another vantage point.

Nozomi returned the gesture and continued to move along the path. It was, honestly, reassuring to have a bowman around at her back. She preferred up front and personal combat tactics, but there was something to be said for distant and deadly. Also very useful for hunting.
