Much like Lady Makime, after this mornings talk with Enrou, Kenji was much too wary of anything the man might of had a hand in to eat this evening.
He tried to be polite if anyone offered him anything, but his insistent refusals and lack of eating seemed to insult them regardless.

After two nights of festival occurrences seeming oddly in line with poor sleep and poorer dreams among those around her, Tai's not entirely trusting that these rituals are actually beneficial against the incursions of the tainted dream realm. She already courts the villager's disapproval with her appearance, so it shouldn't be that difficult to keep the offers of food to a minimum.
