His hands were firm on the dough kneading it with practiced care. Up and down, up and down...after a few moments it was ready. The dragon covered the pan with a light cloth and had to wait for it to rise.

Once baked, it would make a fine addition to tomorrows dishes.

But for now he waited.

Leaving the kitchen to leave the becoming bread some privacy, Zhe sat down on the interior court's porch and breathed deep. Leaning on a pole he looked back it the day's events.
