Akutou makes his way away from the marketplace and main streets, knowing that he'll be looking in places other won't necessarily go and, from seeing how others have reacted, won't necessarily think to look. And it'll be in the poorer parts of town he'll need to look, not just those on the outskirts, but the little pockets of poor that pepper any settlement of size. Back alleys, back doors, backhanded ways.
What will he find?
Likely not a whole lot, with the festival in town. But that doesn't mean he knows it.

Sadly, they're hard to find, even in a settlement as small as this one. When there were visitors, they rarely went to the poorer areas. As a result, people recognized him instantly as a stranger and did their best to avoid him.
