In the middle of the village is a garden. It's subtle and well-designed, with some of the water from the nearby stream diverted to form its pond and then allowed to flow from there back to it. It's quiet - all sound seems a little bit muted here, and conversations are rarely overheard. It has such a peaceful feeling that people often find themselves becoming sleepy here. There are several extra long benches scattered about for just such occasions.
