(Day 5, EM) Where Are You Grandmother?

It was hard to tell what time it was. It was likely dawn, as the darkness of night was receding. But, the fog obscured any sense of sunrise. Nao entered the garden and tied one end of a rope to a bench. The rain had stopped, but it was windy. She needed some assurance that she could return to shis spot.
Once she felt the rope was secure, she wrapped the other end around her arm and held it tightly. She looked down at San, who had already curled up for a nap. Then, she cut herself and whispered a prayer. Her blood rose into the air and dissipated.
A moment later, shealso began to rise. She watched her surroundings carefully as she ascended, hoping she might glimpse details of the area not noticeable from the ground. Her primary goal, however, was to get a sense of where Lady Amaterasu was on the horizon.
