The Day of Thunder

The shrine expands into a huge room with rows and rows of columns on the inside, and the ceiling disappears upward into shadows. It gives the impression of being bigger on the inside than out, but surely that should be impossible?

The centerpiece is a waist-high circular dais of stone surrounded by shrine rope. There are strange characters inscribed into the stone, and at the center is a tall red-painted cabinet sort of structure with a roof like a house - the home of the enshrined deity, whoever that may be.
