I mean ideally it be a conversion of Crab defending the border to Bat, Dragon, Spider defending the border.

Give the Hantei some of the massive chunk of unclaimed territory in the south (that they might have been planning to take anyway).

Always! Momma taught me so! :D It was the way of the Ayakashi to respect nature and pay proper respects to the animals for the food they provided (meat or milk). She still eats that way too.
