Does it make sense anywhere? I don't really buy messing up sleep schedules because people want to do 7:30am-4:30pm instead of 8:30am-5:30pm. 9 hours of daylight is 9 hours of daylight, and people have so many different schedules for work and school these days.

I mean, there are some VERY passionate people about making sure the sun gets up earlier "for the children", so they don't "need to wait at a bus stop in the dark". Which I get. But it's always left how that lone thing is justification for this whole spring/autumn hour dance everywhere for everyone.
