The confusion is on me, I am posting when I can at work and saw it had been 4 hours since I posted the announcement but didn't notice it was only 5 hours and 45 minutes from the event announcement.

I am sorry for any inconvenience or misunderstandings this caused.

It's alright, Tyrus. You're doing a good job with all these combats. :)

Indeed.

Onto combat though. Kenji is water 3.

He's also pretty good at combat stuff in case we want to try to disarm Aoyama or something.

He's going close to last though so I'll let others pick if they want to rescue or not.

Looks like I'm on hostage rescue.

Water 3, Athletics 3, and I think I can continue to be sneaky enough to get at least one of the folks out before things go weird.

Yukara is going for kiho here.

If she can bring Aoyama to her senses, she might let us get the family to safety.

Someone who's got Lucid Dreaming may want to anchor us a bit.

That someone ain't me.

I'm Cursed, instead.

Ayako has Lucid Dreaming and was already thinking about trying to stabilize the house, so I can give that a try - then with her other action, either guard whomever is still near the door, or move partway towards one of the people we need to rescue. She is only Water 2 so isn't the fastest at that.

With Akutou having rolled so well on stealth I agree it makes sense for him to rescue one of the people. Should the rest of us try for the other person or stay and fight? I'm not sure what Yukara's kiho does, does it calm Aoyama down? I can wait to see if that works before acting.

Rest now, my brother, dispels the mental distortion caused by taint and temporarily disables shadowlandd powers.

That sounds great. Hope it works!

From the map, it looks like Aoyama has her husband and two kids hostage, each in a separate room.

I can get the one closest to me, sure.

I endorse Yukara and Ayako's plans.

Kenji's at Water 3, so maybe he could beeline for the girl?

The biggest issue is I'm in attack stance so my attack roll is substantially worse. Whoops.

As of round 4, I think all the family members have been rescued, and Aoyama is in full attack (lowering her ATN). It doesn't look like we can expel the evil spirit from her (though not for lack of trying). What do y'all think about going on the offensive to try and finish her before the time runs out?

Yukara is gonna swing and leave, most likely.

I could attempt kiho again or just bisento

Kenji has to be evacuated.
He's a Thunder (unless I've misread entirely).
We rather need him for D7.

I guess we could all take a parting shot, then leave as a free action? Maybe it would be wise not to get trapped in the dreaming.

It would almost certainly be bad to get caught in the dreaming.

I am happy to return to the fight, though.

With this in mind, I'll wait to see what Kenji does - if he exits the scene this round, Ayako will take a parting shot and leave too. If he sticks around, Ayako will stay to help.

I don’t know if anyone missed it or not, but all four of your weapons should be considered Jade for penetration because you were all present at the Thunder selection.

Just as a reminder. :D
