I find meetings work best if you assume the greetings and stuff is done and get to the meat of things right away, otherwise they drag. The more people in the meeting the more it drags.

I do think Goju's intention was for us to introduce ourselves to eachother, so that IC we know what others can do/how we can support eachother.

I get the idea, and I don't think it's bad per se. But in practice it appears to be closer to one of these company meetings where everyone states name and job in turn, and all these information are forgotten as soon as uttered. Because there are just too many people to keep count.
