Organizing oh!

The game is very big, and very scattered around. No magical solution for that but trying to increase OOC communication.

So, if there's anything you think people might have missed and you think they should be aware about, post it here. Important pieces of information, things that are planned or you wished to plan, etc.

On my side, as of now:

If you didn't sleep at night, don't forget:
  • You didn't recover your Day 1 spent Void points (unless Meditation, Tea Ceremony, and likewise shenanigans)
  • Basically all your TNs are increased by 5, the notable exception being your future attempts at sleep
  • You cannot Full Attack (a.k.a the rule point everyone will forget about until it becomes very relevant)
There's also a player led event planned for D2MA.

There are a variety of folks around able to help a bit with Fatigue and Void. Water is not Tai's best element, but it can chase fatigue at least.

To add to Kaijarisuigyo's summary above, also remember:
  • You don't heal Wounds naturally without sleep (this is relevant for shugenja blood-casting!)
  • Shugenja also don't recover spell slots without sleep.
On helping: Water *is* Tae-soo's best element, so definitely able to help with Fatigue (and recharging Void spell slots), and may help with healing as well if needed.

Can't do much about Void Points though.

Nao can help with Rejuvenating Vapors.

I can only transfer void effects, not void itself.

:(

Anything relevant to discuss for D3?

For people wondering, natural healing is, shenanigans aside, a number of Wounds equal to twice the character's Stamina Trait, plus their Insight Rank (Core, page 84).

Not so much a mechanical thing, but after Sora's dream-chat with Doji, he's going to want to talk to some folks on Day 3...

Hey, did you know we have had a schedule all along?

"Well, we start with the celebration tonight, then tomorrow is the purification of the mind, which involves confronting one's fears to rid oneself of them," she explains. "Then the feast is the next night. The fourth day there's no specific event - it's a day for bonding with one's family and loved ones. Forming and reinforcing close relationships. This is followed by the purification of the body the next day, which is a healing ritual. Finally, there's the purification of the soul, which is generally where it becomes limited to those within the village, or who want to continue living here. Then the last ritual is closed, and takes place at the shrine. The participants pray to call down a blessing."

That fills in some gaps.

...I feel like people should be more cross at the locals for not bringing up the schedule more proactively. Not to mention the cycle of the nightmares and such.

Given how many people obviously didn't, sounds like something you should have posted in this thread, then.

I was in that thread and it seemed like information that was going to be relatively open knowledge. So I didn’t pay it any mind.

No finger pointing here. There was some confusion, some pieces of information were lost in the process. But now they have been salvaged, and that's the important bit.

But like, if that does remind you of something that might not have been shared, in doubt, post it there. Overcommunication is rarely the issue in these games.

It was actually super soothing to discover D4 was supposed to be a break day. Until that, I felt like I was missing something obvious from how quiet the day was (post fight).
