The Day of Thunder

Tai returns to the little cluster of Crab tents, mind feeling considerably more organized though not at all reassured after her time at the edges of the shrine. Normally she'd expect the day's worries to rerun a bit before sleep, perhaps to tread the edges of the now-usual nightmares. Instead, she closes her eyes and becomes as close to stone as a human might manage, dropping to sleep immediately.
