As she neared sleep in the villagers’ home, the world seemed to darken… Her senses began to fade… but right before night’s embrace, something caught her attention.

She almost doesn't wake, but she senses... something... with her in the room beyond just Yoshie, Daisuke, and Norikage.
Her eyes snap open to see a twisted being in front of her, needles for its fingers. It gasps and disappears.

Kumori stands up and reaches for her blade just as the enemy disappears…
She scans the house thoroughly for any signs of where it went.

She walks quietly through the house in her sleeping clothes… trying to not wake up the other sleepers.
She slides the door to the outside open and steps out…
She looks up and down the street with her hand on her sword pommel… Seeing mists and darkness all the way down…
