The Day of Thunder

[Haka Tae-soo]

The Water always knows what touches it, the water always knows what it touches.

Being aware of one's surroundings and the signs around might be an obvious lesson, but it was one that was ingrained into most everyone in the late Mosu village from a tender age.

So when something touched the small pool of tranquility that Tae-soo hoped the tent could be for himself and Ha-yeong, it didn't take long for his eyes to open.

[Canary]

His eyes snap open to see a twisted being in front of him, needles for its fingers. It gasps and disappears.

[Haka Tae-soo]

He's up faster than a drop of sweat could drop to the ground, looks at Ha-yeong. Had this... thing done anything to them?

Then, looking outside. Was there anything outside the tent?

[Canary]

She's asleep, with no marks on her. It seems it didn't get to her.

There's nothing outside the tent, either.

[Haka Tae-soo]

The young man sighs as he makes sure the young'un is undisturbed, releasing tension he didn't even know he was holding.

The lack of any signs outside the tent are troubling, though.

He steps outside, looks again. Hears. Tries to think.

Is there anything different? Or... did he remember anything like that? It didn't seem natural, but... anything similar? Stories?

She's asleep, with no marks on her. It seems it didn't get to her.

There's nothing outside the tent, either.
