The Day of Thunder

Rest does not apparently come easily to Huan despite his meditations. Not that one could tell with how still he is in his bedroll.

He sees the shadows in the corner of his room thicken and coalesce into... something... but it disappears, little more than a trick of the light.

His eyes train on the thing, whatever it was, for the moment it exists but then looks to the inside top of his tent, still unmoving, not certain how he is awake but can't control his body. He wonders if it's a nightmare and tries to fall asleep, with nervous and anxious energy gripping his heart.

Fortunately, he is able to slip into it quickly, nearly asleep as he was that allowed the dream vision to appear at all.
