Fearing into sleep [D4 EN - Haka Tae-soo]

The ordeal of the last days apparently finally took its toll on Tae-soo. As he set down to sleep this time, the weird feelings he'd felt the other days came back, this time combined with flashes of the odd sights at the cavern today, scenes the River had showed him... and images from a past he'd been trying to forget.
He tried to fight against it. But somehow, it was futile. It was almost like those times he was trying to convince officials at one of the towns near the Beiden to let him and Ha-yeong through. They just wouldn't believe anything he said, no matter how much he tried, or what he showed them.
That time, they managed to side-step the problem the next day by taking another path. But now... all paths seemed blocked. He seemed to have no control, no matter how much he tried.
Would the next day be just the same? And the next one, and the one after that?
He had to get through, he had to protect the young'un, find the others. He had to help.
But... how? He had no idea. Everything around felt wrong. Like a wall of lies.
Even his own being felt like a lie...
