The Day of Thunder

Returning to her little spot outside her tent after the meeting with the Auntie Council, Satsuki had a lot on her mind. But at least she had been mindful enough to call on the earth kami to strengthen her will an hour ago, having remembered that tonight it was a full moon.

Her least favorite type of nights.

For a while, she sat outside the makeshift-roof provided by the staked-up tentflap, legs crossed in the lotus position as she waited. And waited. Nothing pulled her away, it seemed. In fact, it felt like tonight was going to be blissfully uninterrupted.

After having waited a good while into the early evening, she finally breathed a sigh of relief. Alright, it was time to start thinking of other more important things than her own issues with grandpa Moon. And as she looked over her notes for the idea of four scrolls, her hands worked slowly on some more paper cranes.

"Thank you Doji. You've been with me today." she whispered to a finished origami piece and brushed it against her forehead briefly.
