In regards to making the scrolls.

The example given in the description of the Transmute spell is a wooden desk being turned into fire. The limit given is that complex items with multiple parts can't be transmuted, though individual parts (such as a wagon axel) can. Is that true in reverse? Can I take fire and make ink, for instance? Would this allow us to literally write each scroll with an aspect of a specific element?

That is a really cool idea and I'm going to say yes in this specific case just because I like it. Please do not assume it will work this way in the future.

That has not been established yet. Currently people are super nervous about anyone showing signs, but it might ease back.

People around say that the family is still inside, will the brave samurai save them?

Combat thread please post all relevant combat stats as well as an initiative roll. In addition each character should make a Lore: Yume-do/int TN 20, Lore: Spirit realms/int TN 25, or Investigation/per TN 30.

Rewards: All characters gain .5 glory and gain a rank of Lore: Spirit Realms if they do not already have one.

For the Investigation roll, is it against spotting an ambush?

Even if I'm not in the event, others might benefit from knowing that.
