You manifest the air kami into the mighty Azure Dragon of the guardian beasts, which weaves around you an your allies to protect them.
The Armor TN of all allies within the area is increased by +10 against melee attacks and +15 against ranged attacks. Additionally, opponents find their movements hindered when trying to approach those protected by the Azure Dragon - any opponent moving towards you or any ally within the area of effect must make a Contested Roll using their Strength against your Air. Every opponent that fails suffers Knockdown.
Bolstering the Nine Thunders

Area of Effect: Targets up to caster's Shugenja School Rank
Duration: 10 minutes
Raises: Duration (+1 minute), Targets (+1)
This spell infuses the targets (who may include the caster) with firm and unyielding courage, bolstered by the eternal power of the Earth. For the duration of the spell, all targets gain +5k0 to resist any kind of Fear effect or Corruption/Taint, whether magical or natural. Additionally, the earth kami envelop the target with their embrace, covering his skin with a stony barrier that repels physical blows. The target gains Reduction of a value equal to 5x the caster's School Rank, to a maximum of 20. However, this spell is associated with the prophecy of the Nine Thunders, and those whose connection to the Thunders is tenuous do not receive the same degree of blessing from the Earth kami. Samurai who are not of the original Nine Great Clans receive only +3k0 to their rolls to resist Fear and Reduction of 3x the caster's School Rank. Anyone who has at least a full Rank of Shadowlands Taint cannot benefit from this spell, although this will not actually reveal that they are Tainted.
Honor of the Nine Thunders

This spell invokes the virtues of the soul to combat evil and corruption, opening their spirits to the essence of heroes of ancient past. The targets of the spell receives a bonus to all Attack Rolls, Skill Rolls, and Trait Rolls equal to your Fire Ring, as well as +1k1 to all damage rolls against enemies who possess at least 1 rank of Shadowlands Taint, Corruption, or are under the influence of the Lying Darkness. Samurai who are not of the original Nine Great Clans do not receive the bonus to damage rolls. Anyone who has at least a full Rank of Shadowlands Taint cannot benefit from this spell, although this will not actually reveal that they are Tainted.
Guardian of the Nine Thunders

Area of Effect: All selected allies within a 20ft radius of the Spirit.
Duration: 3 rounds
Raises: Duration (+1 round per Raise), Area of Effect (+5 ft per Raise), Special (Caster's Water Ring is considered 1 rank higher per 2 Raises), Special (Targets' Water Ring is considered 1 rank higher for movement purposes for 2 Raises).
You call forth the spirit of the Guardian of the Deep River, also known as the Black Tortoise, to protect and guide your comrades in battle. The spirit is intangible and appears in a space you can see within the spell's range. The spirit looks like a transparent Black Tortoise.
When the spirit appears, all allies within range of the spirit recover a number of Wounds equal to twice the caster's Water.
While the spell is active, at the Reactions stage of each round, the spirit may move a number of feet equal to ten times the Caster's water; after that movement, all allies within range of the spirit's new position recover a number of Wounds equal to the caster's Water.
All allies within range of the spirit also have their Water Ring increased by 1 for the purpose of their Move Actions while the spell is active.
When the spell ends, the Spirit dissolves into a pool of water at its current position.
