1. That he wasn't as scoundrely as I'd thought. More "learned shifty shit to not die" than the originally thought "learned shifty shit to get over."
2. Mostly, the damned dice. But dice will be dice.
3. The revelation of Kumori during the one event and the "oh, shit, I backhandedly propositioned the Princess" thoughts.
4. I do feel I could've started the underworld investigating earlier.

We didn't have a real scene.

But, I was happy we could signal without words and kill the Emperor's enemies without any fuss.

That being said, if he's a bastard of Gusai and phobia: ocean, what are his plans after all this? Surely his family would probably see his participation as a boon.

Had he done more, they might.

He's got Black Sheep. The Otomo couldn't quite cast him out, not with Dawei having taken him as a student, but they view him as a failure.

Akutou's opinion is that he didn't make enough of a difference here for them to revise their opinion.

Depending on how goals fall out, he may get some semblance of settlement with them.

For now, though, he's going to go back to Stag lands to report, and then he expects he'll be back on patrol for a while until he can avail himself of Naraku's invitation to Hiruma lands. I might have some Epilogue in me...
