The Day of Thunder

[Hisomu Tadaka]

Goju sat at the spot his note pointed out. He had no idea if anyone would come, what to do when they got here, or if this was remotely close to what Shinsei meant.

[Jiyo Sora]

Sora was there, if only because the sentiment made sense to him.

He just hoped the Spider's request would get a decent turnout.

[Otomo Akutou]

Akutou finds his way in.

"Afternoon," he says, tipping his hat. "Saw your note, fig'red I'd stop on by, if'n I'm welcome."

[Togashi Satsuki]

The note had made Satsuki curious enough to show up, and the sentiment was one she agreed with as well. It made little sense to her to have division among them if they were to make it against the enemy.

"Hello," she greeted the ones already there with a smile and a wave of her hand. Given the warmer weather of the day, she opted to go without her winter cloak, though there were still plenty of layers in her attire, which featured nature-themed embroidery and weave reminiscent of the old Ayakashi.

[Ryoshun Yukara]

Yukara had finished meditating and stopped by. She thought it made sense, even if she wasn't entirely sure what to say.

Stepping to the edges of the gathering, she figured she'd wait until she was called on to introduce herself to the class... uh... gathering of heroes.

[Jiyo Sora]

Bat, Dragon, Spider, Stag... four down, five to go. That weird spirit-lady is right, nine is a hell of a number.

[Nanzi Ai]

Ai arrived in full battle regalia, bringing the grace of the Crane to bear. As she was here in an official capacity, she wore the mask of a Yumenosenshi. She arrived and said, “Greetings, minna-sama, this one is Nanzi Ai, daughter of Lord Nanzi and Lady Doji, Yumenosenshi of the Crane and agent of the Raven Guard.”

[Hantei Genji]

A handsome figure with a healthy shine joined the group. He seemed to be quite well rested. "Minna-sama, greetings." He smiled widely and bowed. "Friends and cousins, I guess." He looked over the man who invited everyone. He seemed almost familiar, somehow. Ah well, must be a mistake.

"Sora-sama, been a few years at least."

[Otomo Akutou]

"Sora-sama, been a few years at least."

Addressed or not, Akutou rises and actually doffs his hat.

[Yoshitsune Ayako]

"Umm, hello...? I heard something was happening here?" a young Crab woman asked hesitantly. She was short and stocky, and in full armor. A wicked axe slung over her shoulder, at odds with the woman's uncertain tone.

"Perhaps I could help?"

[Jiyo Sora]

"Sora-sama, been a few years at least."

"Too many, Genji-san. I've told you, no need for 'sama' with me. How're the kids?"

[Shiba Kumori]

Another woman quietly joined the group as inconspicuously as possible.

She found a place to stand where people would have to turn to look at her and watched as the group continued to swell.

[Hiruma Naraku]

Naraku trickled in as others arrived. He was curious about the letter and decided to check it.

[Hantei Genji]

"Too many, Genji-san. I've told you, no need for 'sama' with me. How're the kids?"

Genji gave another bow to his clansmen as he came and settled next to Sora. "Oh, they're great. They have more energy than most of the castle staff put together." He smiled fondly. "Tenma-chan is growing like a sprout. And her brother is not far behind. How are yours?"

[Shiba Kumori]

With three of her cousins in the room already, Kumori’s eyes searched for Nao.

You better be alright kid…

[Jiyo Sora]

Genji gave another bow to his clansmen as he came and settled next to Sora. "Oh, they're great. They have more energy than most of the castle staff put together." He smiled fondly. "Tenma-chan is growing like a sprout. And her brother is not far behind. How are yours?"

"Growing up and leaving their poor old parents bereft!"

He chuckled.

"Shirayuki's betrothed to young Saru Taiyo, and staying in the Dragon lands leading up to the wedding. Phi's studying with the Spider, and probably consulting with that Kuni fellow on fashion designs. Soryu's visiting the Nezumi, studying up on their lore and hopefully not pestering White Moonrise too much. Reiko and Kozan are, well. Five."

And therefore holy terrors of boundless energy and curiosity.

[Otomo Akutou]

Genji gave another bow to his clansmen as he came and settled next to Sora. "Oh, they're great. They have more energy than most of the castle staff put together." He smiled fondly. "Tenma-chan is growing like a sprout. And her brother is not far behind. How are yours?"

Thus acknowledged, Akutou takes up a position behind Genji and to his left.

He returns his hat to his head and touches the brim toward Sora. Respect is due, the more so for a man he's met.

[Anjing]

Goju sat at the spot his note pointed out. He had no idea if anyone would come, what to do when they got here, or if this was remotely close to what Shinsei meant.

Anjing stomps in looking tired but allowing a nod for Naraku, Sora, Ayako, Ai and Satsuki. All that she knew.

"Okay, who wrote that note and are they here yet? This is gonna take a while if the entire camp is introducing themselves. Half of us are going to get dramatic."

The daimyo crosses her arms and looks for the culprit.

[Hisomu Tadaka]

Goju greeted those that came. He was more formal and a little awkward with the children of the Kami though. Except Genji. The last man he wanted to see here. And the one he wanted to see the most. He bowed probably lower and longer than he should have to hide his emotions. After he composing himself, he recovered from the bow and then greeted the next person that approached.

[Lost Love Activated]

Goju continues to greet people as they approach giving others a little more time to join.

[Shiba Kumori]

Han-Hei’s eyes passed over her aunt as she made her arrival at the gathering.

She had never met the woman before… perhaps once when very young… but her reputation seemed to match perfectly with the true article.
